Rockisha has been singing for as long as she can remember and she's enjoying every minute of it. Rockisha's mother was a singer and exposed not only her but also her siblings to several genres of music; mainly Gospel. Like most singers with phenomenal voices, started out singing in the church and she was very involved with the music department as well as other auxiliaries within her church, which inspired her desire to explore the many possibilities of singing and living out her dream.
When Rockisha isn't singing, she enjoys listening to others sing and or perform, especially her mother. To quote Rockisha "Music is genuinely pleasing to my soul."which is a personal motto that rockisha stands behind. Rockisha shares her point of view as how music impacts her life and on her success as an artist. "Singing takes me to a place where I can escape the unpleasant and unwelcoming truths of reality at times."
